The Papers of Edward Joseph Dent

Arrangement: The documents in this series were found mainly in archival envelopes marked by former members of staff, grouped by subject (e.g. 'Opera', 'Mozart', 'Dictionary entries'. As the division of documents between these categories was not consistent they have been re-arranged into the current sections and organised chronologically within each section, with undated items at the end of each series. The number given in Haward's bibliography has been added to the catalogue description where possible.
