The 'Visitor' is the Bishop of Lincoln, and his authority was established in the 15th century Founder's Statutes. The Provost can call on the Visitor to arbitrate in disciplinary matters, or to enforce the rules of the Statutes if they are disobeyed or questioned. Contains KCV/1-/51.

The case concerns a loan made by Adolphus Feistel to Lionel Buller on the security of Buller's College dividend, and thereafter efforts to expel Buller for debts and for bringing King's College Cambridge into disrepute.
