Originally granted to King's College by Henry VI in 1444 with St James Priory in Exeter, Withyham manor was later exchanged for Sampford Courtenay in Devon in 1570, with Sir Thomas Sackville (later Earl of Dorset).

Documents relating to College lands in Withyham, Sussex. Includes WIT/1-/24.
