King's College exchanged the estate of West Wretham for Caston Hall manor, also in Norfolk, with landowner Mr Wirley Birch in 1820. The records of the exchange can be found in KCAR/6/2/171/05 Title deeds WEW/3 & 4 and also in the Caston Hall records, KCAR/6/2/29/2 Title deeds CAH/9.
