Title Docking, Norfolk
Reference KCAR/6/2/048
Covering Dates 1335
Extent and Medium 1 item
Content and context

The priory of Docking was an alien cell of the Abbey of Ivry, Normandy, and was part of the Foundation endowment of Eton College by Henry VI. It is possible that this document relates instead to Creake Abbey, of which Robert de Docking was cellarer and later Abbot.

Document relating to Docking priory in Norfolk.

Please note that the estate collection is continually receiving new material. Catalogues for estates which have had many additions made during the year will be re-published approximately annually, and the Archive Centre staff are always happy to conduct up-to-date computer searches for any estate. Please contact archivist@kings.cam.ac.uk with enquiries.
