Administrative records

Title Bursars
Reference KCAR/3
Covering Dates 1379–2003
Content and context

In the Founder's Statutues it was laid out that there should be three Bursars, to receive the College revenues and pay out moneys for day-to-day expenditure, but were to have little further responsibility. This has changed over time and the remit of the Bursars has increased. The Bursars have variously been referred to as the First, Second and Third Bursars, the Domus Bursar and the Estates Bursar.
