|
The Data Protection Act (DPA) came into force in 1984 and was renewed in 1998. The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) came into force in 2005. The DPA was affected by sections of the FOIA.
The First Bursar administered the DPA and FOIA from their initiations until February 2006. The Librarian was made Data Protection Officer and Freedom of Information contact in February 2006.
