Content and context

Jacob Bryant, while bequeathing most of his library to King's College, omitted various books and classes of books (the relevant extract from his will is reprinted at the back of Chawner's catalogue of incunabula at King's College). One of these catalogues is the catalogue of books received by King's College, the other is an inventory of his complete library.
