Content and context

Charles Simeon (1759-1836) went to Eton College in 1766 and came up to King's as a scholar in 1779. He was a Church of England clergyman, King's College dean on three separate occasions, second bursar from 1798 to 1805, and Vice-Provost from 1790 to 1792.
