Papers of and about Dr William Brockbank. These consist of details of his Honorary Degree and articles written by him:. A copy of the 'University of Manchester Gazette' no. 57 September 1972 which covers the Honorary Degree ceremony at which WB was awarded an ScD and two photographs of the recipients of the degrees. 'The Art of Lecturing', poems, and 'Please and Thank you' by WB, printed copies, undated with a letter from WB to CP 20 June 1980. Three further articles by WB (signed 'G'): 'The Facts of Life', Samuel Messenge Bradley 1841-80' and 'A Mini History of the Medical School', all probably from the 'Manchester Medical School Gazette' with an envelope of press clippings, unrelated to WB.
