Content and context

GCPP Parkes 9/6-18. Many undated. Some of the letters in this sequence are out of chronological order. It is probable that letter 13 which 'introduces' George Eliot to Sam Blackwell and letter 14 which discusses her relationship with Herbert Spencer should come before letter 8.
