drafts of an article 'Women in Northern Nigeria' for the Girton Review Michaelmas Term 1954. There are 3 drafts: manuscript (9pp), typescript (8pp) with numerous annotations and signed 'E S Fegan March 1954' and typescript (8pp);

partial manuscript for a book, 'African adventures of an amateur educationalist'. There are 3 pages of ms notes 'suggested chapters for book' and what appear to be five distinct sections, all in manuscript - an introduction, 'Daily life of women', 'Portraits', 'The children', 'By-products', some paginated. It is difficult to date, some sections were obviously written in about 1935, but revisited later.
