Content and context

Maud Chapman, nee Reep was educated at South Norwood and came to Girton to read Moral Sciences 1898-1902. She obtained her MA from Trinity College Dublin (quasi ad eundem) in 1905. She was a Visiting Lecturer for St Mary's Paddington 1903-06 and a Tutor for the University Examination Postal Institute 1903-12. She married Stanley Chapman in 1907 and had two children.

The papers comprise copies of the Previous Examination, October 1898, Girton College 'Daily Routine' and rules and regulations [circa 1898], a list of furniture provided by the College for student's rooms, a list of subjects for study and examinations for certificates [1898]. There is also a copy of the list of graduates from Trinity College Dublin, July 1905 and Maud Reep's graduation photograph.

Given by Maud Chapman's grandson, Gerald Bramley, 1996.
