Lewis Charles Bernard Seaman (1911-1986), Downing 1930-33. Historian and author of several history publications; known as LBS or just Larry for his contributions to the Cambridge Gownsman and to some of his friends. Member of DC Boat Club and was Cox of First Boat from 1930-33; also member and officer of Debating Society (enthusiastic contributions - becoming known as 'the College ladies' man') , Maitland History Society, Dramatic Club and Gamlingay Society.
