Content and context

This group (known as a syndicate) of between 6 and 8 paying guns leased the shooting rights from the University at Madingley Hall.

The records comprise correspondence with members and the University's Estate Management department, accounts, annual reports of game bird shooting and breeding, annual programmes, and photographs.

The records were presented to the University Archives by Dr Liesbeth van Houts, Emmanuel College, on 23 December 2005.
