Content and context

These are decorative items which appear to have been issued to band members in commemoration of successful peal attempts. In addition to recording the same information as the peal and touch books at SOC.84.10 they often record the weight of the tenor bell and ''firsts'' e.g. the first instance of the guild ringing a certain method.
