Content and context

The contents of these files are of a similar nature to those for the chairmen. They do, however, contain fuller runs of minutes, more newsletters, and annotated membership lists. The secretary was also responsible for the hire of scores, the storage of scores in the possession of the society and arrangements for the societies' fair.
