This file is the correspondence of Dr F.W. Ratcliffe on subjects such as the constitution, tickets for matches, and resignation and appointment of officers of the club. It also includes copies of the constitution (some draft) and material concerning the use of head protectors. Correspondents include Richard N. Barlow-Poole (University Health Services), Sir John Butterfield (Vice-Chancellor), R.J.H. Uprichard (President), and Paul Hawkins (Junior Proctor).

This item was transferred to the University Archives from the Manuscripts Department on 9 October 2007. It had been presented by Dr F.W. Ratcliffe, University Librarian, to the Manuscripts Department on 24 November 1994 and had been given the classmark Ms.Add.9274
