Content and context

Two names appear bottom right , E. Laeng and E. Romlehp, possibly anagrams of those responsible for the spoof.

The item was found among the papers (reference: Eton College SCH/M/HKM) of Hugh Marsden (1887-1967), Assistant Master at Eton College 1912-51 and life-long bachelor. It was presented to the University Archives by the Provost and Fellows of Eton College on 27 June 2008.
