Content and context

The committee was established as a committee of the Council of the Senate in 1973 to ensure that the ADC Theatre was managed as a playhouse primarily for student drama societies. In 1983, its responsibilities were transferred to the newly formed Theatre Syndicate. The papers were transferred to the University Archives as a gift by Professor Howard Chase, Magdalene College, on 5 June 2002.
