Lease for 20 years by St John's College to Thomas Cooper of Cambridge, yeoman, of a tenement called Malverns with 50 acres of arable land and pasture in Steeple Morden, Cambridgeshire. The property is to be held on the same terms as obtained for Oliver Gatewarde of Guilden Morden, yeoman. Annual rent: 26s 6d and two quarters of wheat and one peck of malt, or the price of the same. Bears broken College seal.

The lives mentioned are those of George, Mary and Mabell Cooper, children of George Cooper, late of Chatteris. Annual rent: £18 10s.

The property abuts the High Street at the east end and extends 34 feet; Schoole Lane leading to Gonville and Caius College at the west end and extends 74 feet; partly upon ground and tenement of Elizabeth Jackson, widow, along the north side and extends 107 feet; upon the ground and houses of Corpus Christi College, sometime in the occupation of William Awstin, along the south side and extends 107 feet. Annual rent: 24s, two capons, four rabbits or 5s. Bears broken College seal.
