Content and context

Comprises copies of charters, statutes etc., originally in several parts later bound as one. Contents as follows:

pp.1-92 charters of Henry III, marked 'This book was given by ye Lord North to Mr Ball, and was given to Mr Tabor, Reg'ry, by Mr Ellis May 20th 1625';

pp.97-150 Statuta et Historia Coll. CCC [Corpus Christi College], bound in part of an old private deed, on paper, indexed;

pp.157-290 copy of composition between University and King's College 1506/7; copy of composition between University and town, 1503; charters of Elizabeth, with interpretations; list of Public Orators to 1627;

pp.291-336 three copies of degrees conferred in April 1728 on the occasion of the visit of the King and Queen, of which is fair and signed 'George R';
