Records of the Board of Graduate Studies

This series comprises one file for each student enrolled for a graduate degree. Within each file are correspondence, circulars, notices, references and supervisor's and examiners' reports.

Regular transfers of further files are expected. The Board is to retain up to 50 years.

The files are arranged in one alphabetical sequence, 1920-37 and thereafter alphabetically by year of completion or withdrawal.

These files are closed to scholars for 80 years from the date of matriculation in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 1998. Individual files may be produced for scholars in cases where the student and referees/examiners are known to be dead.
