There are book reviews, comments, tributes and other items relating to K.F. Gauss, Sir Charles Parsons, Sir Arthur Eddington, Sir James Jeans and others. There are also two ledger books for the York Minster Thanksgiving Memorial Astronomical Clock containing balances; general accounts, June 1954-December 1955; and salary and wages accounts, April 1954-November 1955.
