Content and context

'Papers numbered from one to seventeen giving the final latitudes as computed in the field with the surveys and the position of monuments built by the U.S. Boundary Survey in the vicinity of different astronomical stations. The results at Camps Simiahmoo [Semiahmoo], Sumass and Similkameen having been previously furnished, are not included', signed by G. Clinton Gardner, Assistant Astronomer and Surveyor. The first paper is missing.
