Content and context

Adjustments to the zenith tube during the period 9 November 1836 to 26 November 1886. The early entries are mainly tabular; those of 1837-1844 are more in the form of a diary. The later entries are several years apart until 1883, and are followed by observations to determine values of wires for 1886.
