Correspondence on the communication of time by telegraph to Exeter, Norwich, the Bank of England, Portsmouth, Plymouth and Southampton. The papers include complaints about alleged inaccuracies of the Liverpool Time Ball; a request for a clock for the Greenwich Hospital School Observatory; galvanic regulations of the clocks at the General Post Office and the Athenaeum; and the construction of sympathetic galvanic clocks.
