Content and context

Undated handwritten notes regarding the use of the Yale telescope in South Africa and suggesting further work in that area. An accompanying note by Roger Hutchins, dated 10 January 1995, states that the document is almost certainly the draft affidavit of Frank Schlesinger, Director of the Yale University Observatory, New Haven, written at the request of H. Knox-Shaw whilst visiting him in 1930.
