Redman reports on the Northern Hemisphere Observatory Planning Committee meetings, Science Research Council news, and progress at Sir Howard Grubb, Parsons and Co. Ltd, and encloses a copy of his handwritten memorandum of 23 April entitled 'Commissioning: Prime Focus'.
