A copy of letter from Redman to Richard Woolley, 2 November 1964, regarding Woolley's correspondence with T.H. Hardy, Corning Glass International, of 28-30 October 1964 (which is included), regarding fused silicon mirror blanks and its advantages over pyrex and plate glass. In his reply to Hardy, Woolley indicates there is no money available at present for the purchase of an 150-inch telescope.
