A copy of a letter from B.E.J. Pagel to S.C.B. Gascoigne informing him of the Air Proving Ground Center discussions on A. Boksenberg's Image Photon Counting System, which various observatories are keen to use. Pagel records that the Air Proving Ground Center is funding Boksenberg to continue observing at Palomar, to extend his system to two dimensions and to build a system for the Anglo-Australian Telescope in collaboration with the Royal Greenwich Observatory, subject to agreement with J. Wampler. Pagel also states that he does not want to come to Australia in April. |
