Correspondence concerning the Anglo-Australian Telescope Coudé spectrograph, including a letter from J.F. Hosie, 4 January 1972, enclosing an extract from the Anglo-Australian progress report for the quarter ending December 1971, and asking for a briefing; and a copy of a letter from R. Griffin to J.F. Hosie, 4 February 1972, enclosing copies of telegrams exchanged with H. Wehner, as well as R. Griffin's letter to Wehner of 15 January. Griffin complains about the delay in implementing the design of the Coudé spectrograph completed in November 1970, and threatens to discharge his responsibilities unless the Anglo-Australian Board authorises the requisite expenditure at or before the next meeting. |
