Content and context

A letter from J.F. Hosie, 25 June 1971; a copy of Redman's reply, 28 June 1971; and a copy of a letter from Hosie to R. Woolley, 7 July 1971. The letters discuss the A.A.T. autoguider system, including the different views of the Project Office and the United Kingdom members about it, and refer to the meeting of the Astronomers' Advisory Committee in Canberra on 7 June. There are two accompanying photographs taken by the Site Engineer showing the progress of the Anglo-Australian Telescope.
