A letter from J.F. Hosie to Redman, 23 November 1970, and a copy of Redman's reply of 27 November, regarding the delay in the availability of the GEC-AEI Computer design study, arrangements for meetings, and the use of P.I.L.O.T. (Panel on Instrumentation for Large Optical Telescopes) machinery for Redman's consultations with astronomers. Redman expresses the view that P.I.L.O.T. should do some urgent homework on design.
