A letter from M. Carpenter, 26 September 1967, regarding the appointment of R.L. Ford, Royal Radar Establishment, as a United Kingdom representative to work with H.C. Minnett at the Commonwealth Scientific Research Organisation on the drive and control system of the Anglo-Australian Telescope. Carpenter encloses a copy of his letter to Ford, 26 September 1967, suggesting that he consult Redman or J.D. Pope, the British representatives on the Joint Policy Committee Technical Committee, before a meeting on the drive and control system on 9 October. There is also a copy of Redman's reply of 27 September.
