Photographs and Photocopies

A photocopy of a letter from David Kinnebrook to his father, 21 July 1794, giving details of his salary at the Greenwich Observatory and describing some aspects of his work, including an explanation of the instruments and procedures. The final item of the letter describes how Nevil Maskelyne and his family are expected to go to Wiltshire shortly for approximately a month, at which time Kinnebrook suggests his uncle could visit to look over the observatory.
