A photocopy of a letter from David Kinnebrook to his father, 20 November 1794. The main part of the letter describes how Kinnebrook accidentally broke a wire of the transit instrument while Nevil Maskelyne was absent and his hiring of Mr Troughton of Fleet Street to repair the instrument. He also briefly reports that he has been observing Saturn, the Moon and the 'Georgian planet' (Uranus).
