A photocopy of a letter from David Kinnebrook to his brother, 15 October 1794. Kinnebrook begins by describing how he has been reading the 'Philosophical Transactions' for 1793, which include a description by Woolaston of the transit circle. There follows a list of the time pieces and astronomical instruments at the Greenwich Observatory, including a description of the most important rooms where they are kept. The letter ends with discussion of various general matters.
