The 'Nautical Almanac' is produced jointly by H.M. Nautical Almanac Office and the Nautical Almanac Office, United States Naval Observatory, and printed separately in the U.K. and U.S.A. Prior to the 1960 edition, the publication appeared under the title of the 'Abridged Nautical Almanac' (RGO 104). From 1960, the publication formerly entitled the 'Nautical Almanac' became the 'Astronomical Ephemeris' (RGO 29).
RGO 180 contains an unbroken set of editions of the new series of the 'Nautical Almanac' that commenced with the 1960 edition.
Editions of the series have been added to the R.G.O. Archives at regular intervals. Information about later accessions is kept with the relevant items, as well as being listed in this catalogue.
