Papers of Margaret Burbidge

Two sets of correspondence requesting that E.M. Burbidge give lectures or attend various events. The first series of letters are mostly requests from societies, universities and local clubs for Mrs Burbidge to give lectures, illustrated talks and colloquia. The second series is arranged alphabetically, and is comprised principally of requests to present prizes at schools, give short talks, attend school and college functions, and attend various women's organisations and functions.
