A letter from J.D. Pope to the Astronomer Royal, 4 February 1965, regarding the M.P.B.W. electricians having jeopardised the work of the Astrophysics Department by neglecting to switch off the deep-freeze photographic plate store after routine serving, with a memorandum from Sir Richard Woolley to Mr Belbin, M.P.B.W. Electrical Unit, 5 February 1965, regarding the use of the deep freeze unit following this event. There is also a letter to Woolley from James Tuson, Science Research Council, 2 February 1966, regarding the purchase of a Coudé camera for the Royal Greenwich Observatory, with Woolley's reply of 3 February.
