A letter to J.H. Whale from the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, regarding the purchase of Galaxy from Ferranti, which the Edinburgh Observatory is involved in the design of, and suggesting that if the Royal Greenwich Observatory is thinking of purchasing the system that they discuss this with the Science Research Council in order to obtain the best financial deal.
