Collection of photographs illustrating a typescript thesis 'Transport in Fiji' by W.A.T Bowles submitted to the Institute of Transport in November 1969. The prints vary in size from 175 x 125 to 195 x 245 mm. Numbers 6, 9, 20-21, 23-25, 28-43, 46, 49-50 are by W.A.T. Bowles; numbers 2 & 3 by Nitin Lal, Fiji Visitors Bureau; numbers 4-5, 7-, 10, 12-13, 18-19, 45, 47-48, 52-55 by Rob Wright, Public Relations Office; number 26 by the Public Relations Officer; 14-15 and probably 16 by Chapman; no source is given for numbers 1, 11, 17, 22, 27, 44 and 51.

Passed to the Royal Commonwealth Society by the Institute of Transport in March 1993.
