275 x 210 mm. A view looking down on the town from a slight rise with a hill beyond. Albany is situated about 250 miles by road S.E. of Perth and lies on the site of the first settlement in Western Australia. Its fine harbour (not visible in picture) was, before Fremantle harbour was constructed, the most important port of the west coast. |
