Showing the front façade of Government House, with hills in the background and an Indian standing near the fountain in the foreground. Built between 1873 and 1876 on the site of an older house which was destroyed by fire, it was first occupied by Henry Turner Irving (Governor of Trinidad and Tobago 1875-1880). Poor condition, with tears and bends along the edges of the picture.. |
