|Content and context|
Coloured photographs. The collection was made in connection with a proposed hotel development and the first fifty-two prints show scenes on the Ffryes Point Estate, on the west coast, about seven and a half miles from St. John's and twelve from the airport, where the hotel was to be built. The next thirty-one are of St. John's and the last seven of English Harbour. A map of Antigua has been inserted. There is a list of captions with the album, the references to English Harbour have been considerably amended and corrected.
Presented to the Royal Colonial Institute by Sir Ralph Hone (who gave legal advice on the project) in April 1984, and has his name on the cover.
