240 x 183 mm. A view looking down on to the settlement at Steamer Point with small boats moored in Ordnance Bay. On the hill overlooking Steamer Point can be seen the station flagstaff on a conical hill. The reference to the cast-iron shed in the extract above would seem to date this photograph to c. 1870-75: no covered-in shed can be seen, although there is a wall-less shed on the small landing point beyond the coaling stations.
