Photographer unknown.

Loose prints measuring approximately 160 x 115 mm. These are modern prints from two glass negatives. The prints record a visit made by De Wet to the British concentration camp at Norvalspont, presumably shortly after the 2nd Boer War.

Probably presented to the Library by Hugh Gunn (1870-1931) who was Superintendent of the Norvalspont School.

2 Testimonial by General de Wet. 158 x 115 mm. A photographic copy of a signed statement by de Wet (in Afrikaans) stating his satisfaction at the condition of the 1300 children in the school of Norvalspont concentration camp. Part of the English translation (pencilled below de Wet's text) can be seen on the print.
