Content and context

201 x 150 mm. A view looking north-east across the junction of President Brand Street and Elizabeth Street. On the farther side of the cross roads stands the Raadzaal, a domed building with classical façade and portico, completed in 1893 and used during the days of the republic as the seat of the Volksraad. It now houses the Provincial Council.
