277 x 220 mm. A view looking along the three hundred foot wide Avenida da Liberdade with its tree lined walks forming Lisbon's chief promenade. The avenue leads off from the N.W. corner of Rossio Square. The monument in the foreground presumably commeorates Portugese freedom from Spanish rule. On the print itself is the following typescript caption: 'Lisbonne. Avenue de la Liberte'. It is also numbered 183 and is printed with the (photographers) initials 'L.L.' |
